The Dreamiest Airbnb near Squamish, BC

November 23, 2019Lauren

We decided to go explore British Columbia for our 8 year anniversary in July since it is within driving distance from Seattle and it just looked too magical to pass up. We decided to stay in a small town called Squamish, BC (which is about a 3 1/2″ hour drive from Seattle). It also worked out perfectly because we also wanted to hit up Whistler and Vancouver on our trip, and Squamish was perfectly nestled right in between both — making travel a little bit easier!

We found this beautiful place to stay on Airbnb called “The Tea Tree house” and I felt skeptical at first because I really wanted our getaway to be more private since this is classified as a “private suite.” So I slept on it. And I COULD NOT STOP THINKING ABOUT THIS PLACE. The view. The design. EVERYTHING. So I knew I just had to go with my gut and book it. And I am SO glad I did. Tea Tree House is located in Upper Britannia Beach, a small beachside community within the Squamish region, 40 minutes north of Vancouver and 60 minutes south of Whistler. Your private suite has sweeping sunset views of the exquisite Howe Sound ocean and mountains. Even though I was skeptical of the “private suite,” I was absolutely in love. The privacy and the views could not compare. There was also a private cold spring steps away from this home. You could hear the babbling of the stream as you walked up to this modern oasis. We went for a cold dip in the creek before we went out exploring, and it was so beautiful and exhilarating! And of course pretty romantic to have this spring all to yourself. Do yourself a favor and book this now!
